The Sacramento Ballroom Society will be hosting a series of free Victorian dance workshops at the Old Sacramento Living History Program's summer workshops. While the workshops as a whole prepare museum staff and volunteers for Gold Rush Days held over Labor Day weekend, the classes are open to the public as part of the city's featured summer weekend activities. Additional workshops are available by the Old Sacramenot Living History Program regarding costuming, history & acting.

This is a great chance to meet historical re-enactment organizations and fellow dancers. Lessons are brief and designed for absolute beginners as an introduction to 19th century ballroom. No partners necessary as we rotate throughout each lesson.

Check the volunteer page of our website for more details at www.sacballroomsociety.org for the latest postings. You can also request to be added to our historical dance & volunteer email list through our website's *feedback page.* Our regular mailing list form is reserved for those who wish to receive information about our twice monthly, modern ballroom events.
