Holy Fucking Shit! That was one of the best restaurant experiences i've had in Sacramento! The food was so good I want to choke someone!* ... I think it says a lot when the best vietnamese cuisine I've ever enjoyed came from a fully vegetarian restaurant. My friends have been trying to get me to go here for so long now and one thing or another has kept me from going in there... But I'm here to tell you... the vibe in Andy Nguyen is 2nd to none... The owners are on a strong Buddhist mission... ever since their re-opening they went totally veg... they have stacks of dhamma books to give out for free (I grabbed "the path to happiness")... they gave me a CD as well! The help was super-smiley and very timely.... If you go I highly recommend the Love and Kindness soup... The Mandala Fried Rice... and the Treasure Rolls... which i mistakenly thought said Treasure Trolls... thankfully i was wrong. The ONLY problem I can see is that they do not drive to your house to feed you more after you've already gotten home. This is the kind of food you can eat indefinately no matter how full you are so be careful.
