"All the people are the same"
Well, when it comes down to looking for a date or someone I can spend some time with other than myself for one evening or maybe a day or two or even long-term if its possible Im no stranger to dating websites. I've been using them for 5 years or maybe more, either way most of them are becoming down right dissappointing especially the ones that require you to pay before you can even contact someone, on top of that you might run into Materalistic women that are just out for money and nothing more than that. Since when did having a "good job" become so damn important in relationships? Its STUPID!

But thats not the case with this new website I discovered a couple of weeks ago called "blackplanet.com" its very similar to "Asianavenue.com" except blackplanet.com is mainly for black americans, and its also open to any other race that may be interested in blacks. One of the core reasons why I decided to use this new site, I've never been with anyone black before so I thought "hey wouldn't it be nice to try someone different this time around?" After all Im half black myself but I just don't approve of the lifestyle that most blacks in America are proud of. Blackplanet.com is similar to Asianavenue.com for many reasons, and one of those reasons is being the fact that all the blacks talk the same, or describe themselves the same way. Hearing someone say "don't play any games" is becoming so old you get tired of hearing the damn saying because every woman/girl that use dating websites tend to have bad experiences with past relations to the point where they feel like they need to use the same crap "I dont like people that play games." Why can't women just make up their own material instead of copying eachother?

Either way Blackplanet.com is not only bad because so many people are doing the same thing, they all look alike too! Seriously you'd think that it would be possible to find at least one black person that is into something else besides "R&B and Hip-hop." Which is common and not rare here in California these days, ever since rock/metal died out years ago in California Rap has taken over and now its impossible to fit in with the society if you have greater taste than others.

Blackplanet is one of those websites for people that are into the whole "urban way of life." Otherwise you are less likely to get noticed if your anything different from that. Some of the people look like hell, others are very attractive and beautyful looking people regardless of their "ghetto personality." It is rather anoyying and difficult to ignore when your reading through hundreds of profiles with the same dialog typed in them. Your bound to get bored, and just give up. Unfornatly there are other dating websites for blacks, websites where its possible to meet different black americans but the problem is there is a catch....and that catch is...? You'll have to pay a lousy expensive fee in order to communicate, and sometimes trying to sneak your email address into the profile can cause you to get caught and also kicked off the website if its monitored by real people. Some websites will ignore it.
Blackplanet.com wouldn't be so bad if the people were a little ddifferent every once and awhile. - Vincent , posted 03/28/07
