This show has weak villans, boring characters, and Feminism
Ever since I was small I use to love comics of all kinds but I was more interested in Marvel Comics than anything else out there. As I got older I discovered DC and didn't like none of their comic books or cartoons. I did watch The Super Man films and also owned 1,2 and 3 on VHS in the 1990's.
In 2003 I switched from cable to Satilite. And thats how I discovered a cartoon called "Justice League."
Justice League is not a spin off of X-men, but it does have a few things in common with the X-men and what will that be? Well the Justice League are all super heroes. Unfornatly they are all over-powered and never lose. Its strange how DC comics chose Super Man as the leader, he can never lose a fight and mostly if not all of the villans in the entire cartoon are down right weak and scared of the Justice League.
I also found out that there is a great amount of "feminism" in the cartoon. There are episodes where all the female characters personally hate the men heroes for whatever lame ass reason that doesn't make any sense. Like that episode where the Amazonians were trying to end all male life forms on earth and the entire episode was just pure dramatic and sissy like. Even Super man was weak against their queer female powers. It was one of the worst shows in hero comic history.
I honestly don't understand why all the characters have to be cocky and serious all the time. The villans are never strong and they constantly get beaten even by the weakest of Super Heroes. There was an episode when Lex Luthor gathered all the villans together to destroy the Justice League including a Giant woman. The villans were going to help Lex unleash this super powerful monster that was suppose to be somewhat of an imatation of Apocolypse of the X-men because he was seriously giving Super Man the beating of his life. When this super creature was unleashed he was planning to destroy everyone on the planet. Lex relized that he made a mistake by being foolish. So Lex and the villans team up with the Justice League. First the Justice League tried to lock up all the villans but this flaming skull character that looked a little like "Ghost Rider." Was not about to stand for that, however they join forces anyway and fight to save the day. Unfornatly Lex had to kill himself along with the creature by giving him this crysal orb element.
The ending to this episode was rather stupid because the Justice League didnt even say thank you to the villans but instead tried to lock them up again. The flaming skull guy said " you think we are just going to stand here and let you lock us up?" Then one of the Justice League Heroes said, " you think you can take us?" Just before they were about to fight, the villans took off running! What the hell was that???? The villans in the X-men would have never done that, if anything the villans in X-men are far more superior than the good guys.
Justice League is not entertaining, its basically a weaker version of comics. All the super heroes think they are badass and none of them are interesting what so ever. Both Hawk Girl and Wonder Woman are the dumbest looking female super heroes I ever seen and yet they are also just as strong as Super Man is and can never lose a fight. DC tried to give every character in the cartoon the same personality except for Flash who is sometimes goofy and what not. The rest try to pull off that "serious all the time attitude" and it just doesnt work.
This is basically a show for kids or for people who like lesbian women in tights that encourages feminism. Bat man is the only original hero because he doesnt have any powers at all, but there are times when he seem incredibly powerful. In the regular batman cartoon he often loses a few fights every now and then but since he is fighting against mostly human beings it is only fair to say they batman can easily win because of his gagets.
