"Terrible Movie"
Mortal Kombat video games were great to play against people in the arcades or at home on the consoles, but when someone told Hollywood studios or whom ever was behind the making of the movie to produce 2 worst films about a fighting video game, they really did manage to hit rock bottom.

First off the movie didn't have any blood what so ever and it was nowhere near as voilent as the video games were. The movie was awful, and slapped together. Unfornatly the characters looked exacally like the their in game characters including their real costumes, which was the only appealing thing about this film. Everything else was just pure wreckaged. At the end Lu Kang knocks Shang Tsung into a pit of spikes but there was no blood or gore to this scene. He just fell onto the spikes, and decayed into a skeleton.

The acting was nuetral, I cant say that I could have done any better so I'll rate the acting a C- and the action recieves an "F"
This movie can be seen by anyone due to the lack of real voilence. The Second film was just as worst as the first one.

Plot:
For centuries a tournament has taken place to halt the invasion on Earth Realm. Shang Tsung, an evil sorcerer from Outworld has united with Goro, a four-armed prince born half man, half dragon to secure nine straight victories over countless generations of Earth Realm warriors. Because the sorcerer needs fresh souls, he lures three of Earth Realm's best fighters to a magical island for the tournament, plotting to steal their souls after having them killed in kombat. And as it is written, one more victory will no doubt spring an invasion by Outworld on our realm.

But Rayden has other plans to lead the three Earth Realm fighters to victory, including the chosen one. Liu Kang, a Shaolin warrior from the Temple of the Order of Light and direct descendent of former Mortal Kombat champion Kung Lao, will stop at nothing to avenge his brother's murder at the hands of Shang Tsung. But he fights with resentment, fluttering his focus with rage and anger, which could cost Earth Realm its very existence. It will take the patience of the Shaolin and the guidance of the god of thunder to prepare Earth Realm's chosen one for kombat.

Sonya Blade, an American Special Forces agent and extremely autonomous woman is in search of her corrupt enemy Kano, the leader of the Black Dragon, an underground crime organization responsible for her partner's death. Shang Tsung uses Kano as bait so that Sonya can board a ship on course for the tournament. With the help of Rayden, Sonya will need to learn how to be a team player, enabling her to trust and count on her Earth Realm combatants.

Johnny Cage, a successful Hollywood actor is tormented through many publications branding him a phony martial artist. Shang Tsung disguises himself as Cage's sansei, baring an invitation to the most esteemed martial arts tournaments, presenting the perfect opportunity to prove wrong all doubters and mend his wounded ego. Through the wise direction of Earth Realm's protector, Cage will need to put his ego aside and focus on the true predicament at hand.

Earth Realm's heroes will need to use their newly acquired knowledge to overcome not only insurmountable odds, but also their fears, thus drawing on their inner strengths, giving them the abilities they need to win. Because if they do not, it will mean the end of our planet's existence as we know it. These three warriors, along with the god of thunder are Earth's only hope in a tournament called Mortal Kombat.
