IMO Vincent has publicly identified a big problem with many (?most ??all) personal internet networks where numbers of friends/posts are a major factor. The content of a person's character cannot be determined solely by photographs and soundbite messages. Of far more value is what a person thinks and does - and anonymous website/netowrk posting cannot be used as a determiner of this either. A person's reputation can only be earned and kept when s/he can be identified. I understand the concern of many re. possibility of physical force being used (including government enforcement agencies), so in areas where there is reason to believe such may be used against me, I say little. Honestly is tribe.net the only website where people dont rate other people? Tribe.net may not be popular but at least the people here are damn realistic! You cant find one single real person on websites like myspace, bangme, vampirefreaks, or any other popular network website with allot of those "emo,goths,punks,hip hoppers, or whatever the hell you want to call them" I just cant stand fake people seriously but these networking websites are flooded with them like crazy. Tribe.net is so small and powerless against the bigger networking sites due to the lack of people here, tribe.net might just end up getting counceled someday. Anyway I joined bangme.net because I wanted to meet singles, I mean hell I've been single for 4 years and Im getting tired of it. So when I decided to browse the data base for the first time....the website reminded me of all those other pointless networking sites, and I relized that if I stayed there longer than 1 year it would have been myspace all over again. I joined myspace in 2004 back when I didnt even know what the hell networking was all about. Then I joined tribe.net later that same year under a different name. People on popular networking sites are really full of themselves, they get complimented by a half dozen suck ups, and once you see them on the "most popular girl or guys list" the only thing you want to do is punch the f*cking idiot in the face as hard as you can. Whats up with fake people thinking their realistic knowing damn well they'er not? Still I think that if you want to ever meet real people you have to look hard for them. Im telling you, even people I meet out on the streets never give me their normal email address or phone number. They'll just say it plain and simple "here is my myspace.com" and once a person tries to give me their myspace I've all ready lost interest in them and just walk away without even looking back at them. Bangme.net is no different than vampirefreaks.com or myspace.com Every last one of these websites have a rate picture section. Tribe just have the typical "leave a comment on pictures" but the thing is tribe.net isnt about popularity or competition. You dont rate pictures and then become popular. This is the only website thats aiming toward people trying to meet other real people instead of people wasting shit time trolling for fake friends to add on a list full of 9000 and something of others. God its anoyying. But what can you do? WHen half of the world is following trends? Nothing except walk the face of the earth as a loner. I refuse to judge people when they all ready know their a fake ass in the first place. So the best thing to do is just leave them be, let them fake their useless ass through life because either way they arent going to give a damn about what I think. And their friends obviously like them regardless if they are fake or not....still bangme.net is deffinatly getting a 1 out of 5.
