"Very Ugly layouts, and too many webpage errors"
Freewebs.com is a place on the internet where you can create your own free websites. But there are allot of problems you will encounter, such as uploading music or background images that often fail to blend in with whatever template you are using.

For some strange reason you are forced to use ugly layouts, my favorite one is the "city background" but it is only in black and white (no color) so thats a dissappointment. Secondly it is hard to upload MP3 files, every time I try and upload a file I get a dumb message that says "internet, must close down sorry for inconvience" and then I am asked to file a progress report for the problem. As far as I know, you can upload those lousy MIDI files but wheres the fun in that ?

I've been looking for a decent website that would allow me to create a full complete website without having to be some sort of premium or gold member. Freewebs.com is by far the worst one I've used thus far.

Its also anoyying when you click out of the page, you have to log in every time. There is no "remember me" box for you to check so that if you log out? And return back to the website, you'll still be logged in. Not to mention "password protection" because you have to be a premium member before you can use that option and it seems almost easy for someone to figure out your password and hack all your stuff.

I don't think the websites are capible of flash media either, and Im looking for somthing I can be very creative with. To launch my organizations non-profit webpage.

If anyone knows of any better websites I can create my own on, please let me know.

Freewebs.com is a totall mess. I deffinatly wouldn't reccommend it even if you understand the concepts of web designing. - Vincent , posted 12/25/06
